Thanks for weighing in. I had a long talk yesterday w/ the radiologist and she was flabbergasted that I considered the former biopsies trauma. She also told me that "changes to the breast" are quite common in peri-menopausal women. So hopefully I am almost done with that.
I wonder if the Iodine book is at the library? I checked on Amazon and it is a little pricey. I remember you telling me about the Vitamin D thing before. Is gel caps the way to go there? They wanted to know if I took any vitamins when they scheduled the procedure. Would it be beneficial to start now? Or can I wait until next week...Anyway, I nursed for 3 years in a row. Both kids were fed on demand and I even tandem nursed for a month. At the time I was told that nursing is one of the best things you can do for breast health. *sigh*
Thanks again Ellie. I know you are getting really busy w/your practice! Did I read your D is going to Portland soon? I have 2 very good friends who live there...and have considered moving there myself...If I could just live there in the summer and move somewhere sunnier for the winter!
Take care, SG
