What do you mean Amy? From negative to seeing the more positives I have? Or just away from this sitch? If you did it, I'm going to look to you for guidance as I have since I met you.

Pretty much.

To being able see the little things that are positive and appreciating them instead of focusing on all the things in your life that are "wrong" and letting them drag down your state of mind and outlook.

Your life is what YOU make it, Dar.
Not what your husband makes it.

You can't manipulate, threaten, intimidate, bitch, complain, moan, cry etc...and change your life. It's just doesn't work like that because none of that accomplishes anything REAL, anything good or anything positive. And if something is not good, healthy, productive, enjoyable... WTH would you want it in your life? Do you need MORE baggage? I sure as hell don't! So you start taking out the trash so to speak.

If you get into the Word and find out what God says about your life - and about YOU - and you start telling those things to yourself realizing the what HE SAYS IS TRUE, your life will begin to change. It's a given. That's not to say it's easy though. It takes time to retrain your thinking patterns, your self-image to what GOD says you ALREADY ARE if you believe...but it's doable. It is definitely doable. I have overcome (except on the rare truly down days I sometimes have - but I pull out of quick!) a lot of the negativity that my mother instilled in me from childhood and my husband inadvertantly reinforced. Negativity, sarcasm and pessimism ruled the day. I'd say by at least 80%, I've cut the negativity and pessimism out. I opted to keep the sarcasm because I'm just real good at it ;\) .

Thanks Amy. I am SLOWLY getting rid of the negatives I feel in my life, physically and mentally, but more mentally since my mind could do numbers on me. \:\)

On a good note, D and I went to family spanish night at school last night. It was actually a blast... probably one of the more really fun family nights there so far! We got to play bingo in spanish! I LOVE bingo! \:\)

Personal question: Does anyone have their hoo hoo pierced? I'd LOVE to have it done but want to hear from those that have it and the ups and downs of it. If you don't want to answer I understand.

Naive question (and hello Dar- I think this is my first post on your thread).

What's a hoo-hoo?

Is it something that lives in a pair of pants? And if so, men's or women's?
