I think I understand what you were trying to get at, but Jesus certainly doesn't teach us that we are free to live our lives any old way we please and still have the guarantee of eternal life with him one day.


There are standards in every walk of life.

No, this was about how He accepted sinners and he did not put stipulations on them nor did he force them to follow Him either.

He accepts everyone and this is what I was getting at. We all sin and yet we feel that we must put forth rules/regulations, etc. in order to allow a spouse to come back home.

All Jesus asks is that we accept Him as your personal savior and repent.
