H and I filled out the divorce papers 2 times. We both decided to do it ourselves and save the lawyer money. We even went to the mandatory co-parenting class.
We were S almost 3 years. I stayed in the house and H took what was his or what he needed. We worked out our own child custody. No alimony since I make more than him and we did joint custody and split all the children's expenses.
I DB'd my butt off- I took him off my insurance. I gave him what he wanted and worked on myself. The most used phrased in my head was "whatever..." and I just let stuff go.
