Michelle!!

I'm so glad that the article was interesting/helpful. The author definitely has an axe to grind and I wouldn't want to discourage anyone from taking ADs if they are helpful for them!! i started taking all the gland support supplements a couple days ago. You can get them at naturamart online for a huge discount, and the other stuff I got at iherb online. I am with you... for some reason I really felt resistant to going on ADs, I am excited that I might be fixing some of these problems without them!!

Does H have PSTD from being in combat? I picked up on your sitch a couple threads back so I think I missed a bunch of stuff.

Yeah, send him the article! Sounds good!

He was in combat quite a bit on his deployment. Had close calls with IEDs and mortars, shot a guy (who lived), had two guys in his platoon get shot by a sniper (one of whom died), so yeah, he was pretty traumatized. He had a rough time readjusting to civilian life and going back to school and has been showing all the signs of depression and most of the signs of PTSD.

He doesn't want to admit anything is wrong though, doesn't want anything on his military record, and isn't a fan of drugs. He's big on traditional Chinese medicine and natural supplements though, so he would probably find the article interesting.

Wow, that's quite a load to carry around, and for you to face. (((Michelle)))

and your H gets a little one (H) for all he's had to face, too.

Well, forwarded T's article to H. With some questions attached - asking whether he thought the guy had good points, and asking him if he had opinions on the supplements he recommends as I'm considering buying some of them. We'll see what he says when he finally checks his e-mail lol.
