Hmm, that was when he got quiet on me. We shall see.

Yeah, pretty talkative, which is good for him. He's the serious, silent type a lot of the time lol

Hey Michelle.. the 20th was that day my BF came here for 7 hours but was very quiet and closed off and just wanted to watch tele. We met for lunch teh next day and again he was quiet and separate and then we went home for the weekend.. and well, its all been a bit odd this past 3 weeks (before that he was calling me every day).. so dont worry, this is the lull between the full moons, whatever didnt happen at the last one, we get a second chance coming up...

Great that he was talkative on the IM! Anything of note he said?

Michelle,

The article that I mentioned to Ali isn't linkable b/c it's a pdf newsletter. Is there anyway I could get your email address? Jeff has mine, does he have yours? if he does, we can ask him to hook us up, and I can email it to you. I wish there was a link, this info is really valuable to me... not just about depression, but about stress and the body. I want to send it to everyone!!!!!

I didn't realize that there were possible depression issues with your H. Maybe I missed that or it was from before I started following your thread?

One of the biggest symptoms of P0st-Traumatic Stress Disorder is depression. While I waver on occasion with whether he has full-blown PTSD, there is no doubt in my mind he has been fighting with depression. For probably about 2 1/2 years now. It doesn't get mentioned often now as it was something I included in my first thread.

We should be connected soon.

Thanks so much for that article, T! It is fantastic and jives with some of the health articles I have read, although far more detailed.

I will have to try some of those supplements. I knew omega-3 and B-complex were good for you, but I had no idea HOW good!

While my H isn't really willing to admit he's depressed, I have no problem admitting the last couple years have really worn on me and that I have fought to maintain my emotional balance through this. Also, while I don't like drugs, I have no problem doing health food supplements like this.

I may even send this to H and ask him what he thinks. He is very interested in stuff like this. And he probably would have an opinion on the guy's research. And maybe it would give him some ideas!

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

I'm done drinking margaritas, but I'll mix for anyone who asks!
