Think there may be a little of Cats Cradle going on w/ ex and S.

Ever since they had the talk and S found out that his dad isnt as serious about OW as we first thought I think OW has detached a little, she caught on to ex faster then me!

Sooo ex has taken much more interest in S lately. Calling a lot more- asking him to join him, even on weekends! which for almost 6 yrs was off limits! that was for OW and his party gang.

S gets a little annoyed as its last min. things , and S will have made plans already and then ex gives him a hard time. Ex asked S friday will he get a chance to see him on this visit home?? S said well, I didnt think I was coming home, but something came up and I have plans now.
S also dosnt understand why ex cant come over to our part of town, after all S said, he is the one that walked away from the family I didnt ask him to move an hour away.

I had to laugh tho, ex asked S to join him to see a friend of his, B,-- B and ex were roomates when we started dating almost 30 yrs ago, B was in a band then, trying to hit the big time....B is still; at 54 in a band, trying to make the big time.

Hey nothing wrong w/ dreaming its just 30 yrs ago , one of our first dates is ex asked ME to go see B play at a club and hes now asking S to join him and see B and his band. Ha! this is the same friend who not long after ex left, B left his wife, affair and all.

Birds of a feather eh?

Oh Me Oh My
I havent posted all week! who would of thunk a 1 lb 9 oz fur ball could keep a person so busy!! \:\)
Off to the vets in a while, need to ask him some ? like, is she normal?? she acts more like a wild tiger then a puddy cat!

All quiet in my world besides that- had dinner w/ girlfriends one night- B is on his way to NV where he'll p/u his D and N at the airport and proceed to AZ to see his brother, He has been fine about it, till last night, when he called me- he sounded much more quiet and apprehensive and sad about seeing his brother and pretty much knowing it would be the last time.
I hate to even think of that. Its such a shame at such an age and I regret I wasnt able to meet him.

S is done w/ school!! well, officially now for finals. He went to some Fountain run last night, a tradition I guess, there are 10 or so fountains on campus and the seniors run to each and get wet, I dunno, I am sure hes not telling me everything! lol

Grad is in 2 weeks and his b.day is next tues. I feel bad he'll be at school, but we'll celebrte later.

Ok kiddos, just wanted to raise my darn thread up!! \:\)

Have a groovy weekend! I'll be around so keep those cards and letters coming!

This is not good. You need to get a life! I bet you're even getting on your cats nerves and that's why she acts like a tiger!

Oh man, I bet Ry had a blast. That sounds like so much fun. Can you believe that he's graduating? Where does the time go?

Oh, wanted you to know that I spoke with Vee last night. She's had a rough school year followed by her contract not being renewed. So just more crap to deal with.

Have fun this weekend....just k & her cat!

Love,
Bethie

Hi Karen!

Wow!

Have I known you that long? I remember when he started!!! You must be so proud. WOW!

Babies of any species are a lot of work. The puppy is just now (at 21 months) starting to slow down a little. Notice I said a little!

Hey Bethie...Is Vee teaching in Illinois? That sucks big time about her contract. Our district sent out over 100 pink slips because of the state budget affecting education. I thought that the Midwest would have it more together. Poor Vee! Give her my condolences!

Hey K!

I can't believe it is already Ry's grad. Was it a 4 year program? Only seems like 2. Time sure flies!

SO, your little Misty is a real tigress - some of them are! My Tango was but not a clawer. Blu is just a gentle sweet boy. I sure love kittens, though, and how they are now is no indicator of how they'll be when they grow up. Just love her and she'll be your baby.

I wanna come to Disneyland too. Your annual trek sounds like so much fun. Glad you're not inviting Daddy Dearest.

Hope it all goes well with B's brother visit. How hard that must be. I know how difficult it was for everyone visiting when my Mom was terminal. 3 years since that awful time.

Beth: say hi to Vee - I haven't heard anything of her in a while. Hope things get better.

LOL thats funny Fig! and I know what you mean! She is one fiesty lil kitty

Visit to the vet today, another $70.00! geeze! Shes on some anti worm meds, that i have to somehow syringe into her mouth , tried tonight w/ the help of my mom and you would think we were trying to hold down a full grown tiger. This is NOT gonna be fun.

Funny now I have found a place I can get my prescriptions for $4.00 I had to pay $45.00 for hers! \:o

Hey Betharoonie!

I do have a life! thats why I havent been on! lol, well ok and the cat, one good thing tho, when I go out she can go in her very own room!! Spoiled brat cat.

Yea, time flies for sure- it seems to fly faster and faster with each passing year too!
Ry had a great time last night, I guess its quite the tradition there, he said there was at least 5,000 students and the 26 fountains around campus were full of kids, singing their fight song and yelling. He said it was one of the most insane best times hes had in a while.

I must write to Vee! its been a while. I miss her. Thanks for letting me know B!

Hi Barb!

Ry went to the community college first then the last 2 years at USC, and he is going back for a semester for one class and a few pre law classes.

Oh nooo daddy dearest is not invited! First of all its my sisters thing, we are mostly just guest, my family dosnt have a thing to do w/ my ex, not a thing, In their mind he basically dosnt exsist.

Your weekend sounds like mine Barb, cleaning and catching up!
I miss B \:\( but he is where he needs to be this weekend.
