Husband, I have to agree with HFF. Who knows this may be her way of reaching out to you. I see it as a huge positive that she wants to spend adult time with you even if it is with her mother. It seems like it has been a long time since she has extended you an invitation! Go for it! Who knows you she may get a little intoxicated and take advantage of you!
Tell her that you were having a bad day with trying to quit smoking when you told her no. You could say that you have changed your mind and you think a night out with her and her mother would be great!
