Hi Lis,

I never did see you as angry when you wrote your post. I know how your heart breaks for your babies. They deserved so much better then what they got. J will soon enough understand this and he will be left to deal with it. He already knows that the kids are uncomfortable and not accepting of Susan.

I think the way you are handling the sitch is perfect. Preparing the kids shows how much you worry about their wellbeing and how much you love them. Sending them dressed in their Sunday best shows that you have class and respect for both you and your children and what would someone ever have to say about that?

Lis go ahead and cry, you're entitled. Sometimes it feels so good to get it all out. Besides, tears are healing and with every tear we gain strength. In the beginning I cried constantly. I used to have sunglasses hidden everywhere because I never knew when I would need them. Heck, I even wore them in church, but the tears became fewer and farther in between, because I AM stronger. Oh don't think that they'll ever stops completely. You'll still shed plenty when it comes to how this affects the kids, but you're their Mom and when they hurt, you hurt.

I agree with everyone else here. You are a special person and I'm sure God has big plans for your life!

Smile Sweetie. We've missed you and figgy even figgied just for you!

Love,
Bethie
