Well mine doesn't call much and if she does, it is regarding the kids, likely something we didn't get straightened out in a text or email. Can you screen her calls? why talk to her at all if she is going to try and push your buttons? You mentioned controlling behavior on her part (had that with my X too). I recently ordered a book on Boundaries Bethie mentioned a long time ago (read an old thread and wondered how I missed the recommendation). Actually I almost never answer calls from EX but I was sitting home stranded in a blizzard doing nothing so I answered this time. I'm getting really good at reconizing her tactics and I think it's actually good detachment therapy for me to listen to her bipolar spew once in a while. It's a good reminder that she hasn't changed and I am way better off with out her. As far as the room... Hey! What can I say? It's not easy being irresistible.
