I know that you are faced with a painful turn of events at the moment, so your coming here to support me now shows what I good guy you really are. Too bad your W is still unable to recognized that. We sure do.

There's probably lots of "reasons" your H has for doing this, but if he's anything at all like my H, he doesn't like the man he was that would do such a thing and needs to "fix" (morph) into someone "better". It seems to be a cocoon-like phase that they need to do alone. Remember that in your darkest moments. It probably won't be long before you start to see some real positive changes in your H's actions.

Healing starts from within. I wish I could put a mirror to my computer screen to show you what a treasure you are. Your "life force" shines through.

I saw something on another thread to which you posted. You said your H said he wants to want to make it work.

Have you read Relationship Rescue? There is a point on the GOOD behind the S that makes that statement. Check it out.

Tal,

As always, you have a talent for painting pictures with words.

"he doesn't like the man he was that would do such a thing and needs to "fix" (morph) into someone "better". It seems to be a cocoon-like phase that they need to do alone."

I will keep that thought with me.

Thanks

Jeannine

Hi Jeannine,

Hope you got some sleep last night!

My H did leave but spent lots of time talking to me before he did and we sorted some stuff out that helped me last night to deal a little better than I thought I might.

I did sleep most of the night. Took two tylenol PM when he left though figuring I might not sleep.

Take care and my thoughts and hugs are with you!
