Have a good weekend
Off to B's neck of the woods this weekend, his D and future SIL just moved in their new home, they are so excited, and are h aving a house warming this weekend, so off we go.

Got some bad news about B's brother, he was just told he has a very very short time to live, kidney and stomach cancer, he is only 55, so B is very upset, their parents died young also, both of lung cancer. So glad B does not smoke!
He is going to AZ to see him next weekend. I feel so bad for him, wish there was something I could do or say, but I suppose just being here is all I can do.

Hopefully this weekend will cheer him up.

Just reminds me to live every day to the fullest and not let the small stuff get ya down.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend.
Real nice here, B's D and future SIL housewarming/birthday party was quite a success! Great food, very nice people, B's D is marrying into a wonderful big Argentine family, they were such nice folk!

Her new home is beautiful! a lot of happy memories will be made there- its interesting watching new couples start out, young, fresh, so much hope and excitement, its so sweet and you hope that everything works out great for them.
then you look back and remember when that was you, and recall how you were so full of anticipation for the future.

B is going to AZ this weekend w/ both his Ds' and nephew to see his brother, it will be hard for them, but its nice they are all going together as a family and will be there for him.

Its hot as all get up here and I dont like it!!! Bring spring back!!

Crank up the a/c. I heard that it was in the 90's there yesterday, and to think that ALL was dealing with snow drifts..yikes! I'm not sure which is worse!

I thought about you and the party. I'm so glad it turned out to be such a great successs and that you're fitting in nicely. Did B's ex show? That would be interesting!

Is Ry already for graduation? Will you be including ex in any of the festivities?

Thanks yes everyone was so nice. The fiance has a big family where as B dosnt really his elderly relatives are still back in NH and his parents are no longer alive, so its him, ex and the 2 girls. I think thats why he really likes that I have a pretty close family

No no ex, but ex son , from the affair she had was there! Nice boy, hes 21 I think now. B's D love their little B and in fact he is staying w/ his D now in the new house for a little while.
Actually B's ex lives in AZ as of Dec. whewww lol wanted to be closer to the oldest D and grandkids.

Yes Grad is close! and no ex is not invited to our family luncheon after, and def not for the weekend at D.land as thats to do w/ my niece and nephews' school.

I think about how sad it may be for ex that he may be going to the grad alone, dont think OW would go, but this was all a choice he made.
I dont know what or if he even thinks of it, but I did have this talk w/ Ry this a.m, He was home for a day to gather fin. stuff and we had breakfast and had an interesting chat.

I need to do some more catching up later.

Ha! yea well, since ex was a whole 6 weeks older then me, 7 yrs may be robbing, This chick hasnt been in a cradle for a LONG time tho! lol

Think there may be a little of Cats Cradle going on w/ ex and S.

Ever since they had the talk and S found out that his dad isnt as serious about OW as we first thought I think OW has detached a little, she caught on to ex faster then me!

Sooo ex has taken much more interest in S lately. Calling a lot more- asking him to join him, even on weekends! which for almost 6 yrs was off limits! that was for OW and his party gang.

S gets a little annoyed as its last min. things , and S will have made plans already and then ex gives him a hard time. Ex asked S friday will he get a chance to see him on this visit home?? S said well, I didnt think I was coming home, but something came up and I have plans now.
S also dosnt understand why ex cant come over to our part of town, after all S said, he is the one that walked away from the family I didnt ask him to move an hour away.

I had to laugh tho, ex asked S to join him to see a friend of his, B,-- B and ex were roomates when we started dating almost 30 yrs ago, B was in a band then, trying to hit the big time....B is still; at 54 in a band, trying to make the big time.

Hey nothing wrong w/ dreaming its just 30 yrs ago , one of our first dates is ex asked ME to go see B play at a club and hes now asking S to join him and see B and his band. Ha! this is the same friend who not long after ex left, B left his wife, affair and all.
