Thanks Rob. I appreciate the inisghts.

Get rid of them, its is freeing. Like a weight off your chest, and scary.

I have to agree with Jack on this one. Just the thought of reading the message logs that I found brings back hurtful memories. When W was here and working on things it was easy to bury those memories, but with W having moved out of the house, I find many of the memories percolating up out of my subconscious more often. Just all around unhealthy for my PMA.

While I'm thinking about it, I have a stack of papers from that period of time that I'm going to burn right now...

Rob,
I read about your trip to Vegas, and wanted to comment that the DVD you created to surprise your wife was so fantastic (are you a Mac dude?). My H has never been good at the "grand, unexpected gestures" so this really impressed me.

Jack and hope, Thanks very much for the nudge. I'll destroy that old cr@p first thing Monday (I won't have access to them until then). And I will NOT even glance at them first. \:\)

Joie, Thanks! Nope, not a Mac dude (although I did just order my first ipod using some birthday gift cards - does that count? \:\) )

Just thought I'd ask because usually when people do their own DVDs, they're using Macs. But then maybe I just think that cause I'm a Mac dudette for years. But way to go on the iPod! The new ones are pretty SWEET! I have an older model. My D14 got a new one a few months ago and now I want one!

I think it's good to destroy the old crap. Put it behind you. I think it will be very liberating.

Why thank you, Jen! Yes, it has been a very nice birthday indeed - we went with another family to a nearby state park and spent the day tramping through the woods and enjoying the sunshine. Highly enjoyable, indeed! \:\)

Hello, friends! Just wanted to follow up - I have indeed deleted my old "evidence" files from my computer, without even opening a single one of them. Feels good - thank you for the encouragement!

Make today a great one!
