Hey N_Hill:

The list has been pared down to a single requirement:

(1) He intrigues me.

As for the rest - it is wide open. I will decide one interaction at a time.

take care,
AG

Thanks A_O for guiding me to my new list! \:\)

Now onto a more fun note...

My flight is booked. My hotel is booked. Cat lady booked. Seminar booked. All except cat lady tax deductable. \:\)

Now I need to go shopping for clothes and makeup. I need some nice clothes for one business formal and one a little more formal evening attire - the seminar is more of a gathering of an IP organization. All my make up is over 3 years old - need to buy new stuff.

I will spend a day at my old workplace. Evening at a museum gala. The next three days seminaring - with fun evening events. Then a day and a half with Houston friends. I am flying back late Saturday night.

I plan on doing a lot of eating. \:\)

And I will not be "working." Just sitting back and listening to what others have to say. And it will involve a significant social component. \:\) And I love breakfasts at seminars - chocolate crossoints and coffee. \:\)

And now - well I have been working on a silly Brief. Time to call it quits, pour a glass of wine - and watch a movie. I love Netflix - I always have a movie waiting.

Life is good! \:D

take care,
AG

Hi AG
So send a link to the type of clothes you are wearing.

My attire is totally unapproiate for your world. Swim trunks, Baseball cap, 70s style ya'all in a heap of trouble' sunglasses, and no shoes. However jaws approves and his vote counts.

Sounds like you are really looking foward to this.

Hey N_HIll:

It is quite possible I will be doing that shopping after I arrive in Houston! LOL!

Hi Everyone:

I awoke to the sweet sounds of my lawn being mowed. \:o This is one luxury I enjoy every single time the landscaping crews mows my lawn. It use to take me 2-3 hours to mow it myself at one time. And I didn't have any energy left to edge or blow the grass bits from the sidewalk. And their mowers are so much more powerful and better mulching machines.

I hope to extend this to hiring a housekeeper this year. Not sure why I have such a barrier to doing this... Feels like I should be able to do this myself. I use to feel the same way about the mowing at one time - I adapted. But - it is time - it will be nice having a magically clean house. I just need to talk to people about a referral to a cleaning service.

My goal is to have the houes decorated so it has that finished look by this summer. I did that with my backyard last year and love it. My backyard looks like a park and when I am stressed - just sitting there makes me feel relaxed. \:\) And then I will set my sights on things I want to do in the front yard.

This Houston seminar/vacation is a good thing. And I will go to the other seminar on Mackinaw Island in July. All my friends are through work - so this will also be an opportunity to expand my social circle

I can sense how much I need a vacation. Even at my most relaxed - I am still wound up. It will take a good 2 week vacation to undo that damage. I am not longer harboring the illusion that I have time to plan my own vacations. I am looking into traveling with groups where it is all set up for you. All you do is show up. \:D

My life needs some serious adjustment with an injection of a lot more fun and relaxation.

Now that being said - this will be a working weekend. \:\( The good news is that there is a reward waiting for me - my trip to Houston.

Life is good. Just needs adjustment.

take care,
AG

Oh I hear you on this one, AG. How great that you recognize it and are actively doing something about it.

Houston and Mackinaw sound like two great opportunities: different cultures and climes...the contrasts should be really enjoyable.

He he.... I speak softly but carrry a big stick.

When I get too wound up - my brains starts spinning non-stop (with respect to both the revelant and irrelevant). I feel reactive and it takes a lot more energy to resist the urge to use my big stick to decimate anyone that gives me an excuse to overreact! LOL!

Of course b/c I know I am more likely to over-react - I hesitate more when it comes to making decisons and second guess myself. And there are time when I use a nuclear bomb approach to swat a fly.

I can feel how tense and reactive I am - I need these vacations to re-center myself.

Thanks for taking the time to read my long unfocused posts.

That describes my 'stressed self' exactly. I may have to borrow that one!
