"Grow your own Dope..... Plant a Man!!!"

Ok, no offense intended for any of the wonderful guys on this bb. No offense for any of the less than wonderful guys on this bb either. OOPS - there really aren't any. THERE!

I read that on a car a few min ago and it really made me laugh.

Everywhere I went today, someone laughed at me. I was wearing one of my fav brown t-shirts all bedecked in rhinestones. The saying "There's more to life than chocolate.... BUT NOT MUCH!"

I know I'm in a silly mood. It has been a very busy couple of weeks. I have barely caught my breath. But I did catch up at work and now its just mostly a sail through the next couple of weeks and I'm done. Done like dinner. Probably done forever. What a feeling!

So, our elevator building continues. Garage floor has been excavated. Walls have been broken through. Concrete has been poured. The first inspection has taken place. And framing has begun. Now it is clearer to see where it stands. WOW!

My next door neighbour asked me how I was putting up with the noise and mess. I told her with every noise I know I am closer to my dream of having an elevator for my disabled son. What could make me happier???

I did a lot of house cleaning today. It felt good. I need to do some more.

Also went shopping for my baby boy's birthday. Brandon will turn 26 this weekend. Josh just made a reservation for us at a nice restaurant in downtown Toronto. I got him the camera he wanted - he will be happy.

Saw my ex yesterday. I happened to look out as he was putting Ryan in his car. He didn't look good. He really hasn't looked good since this whole mess began 7 years ago. I'm glad he is not with me.

I have so many bunnies in my yard this year. I watch them run around and marvel at how quickly it turned from winter to summer. No spring in between at all. We went from parkas to tank tops. But who's complaining?

Josh's parents are home from England and visiting this w/e. Fortunately they're staying at his sister's house. It is likely we will visit though. I look forward to that. Funny how a year ago it seemed unlikely I would ever get to meet them and now its a given that I'm included.

And those are my ramblings today. I think I'll tidy up a bit more before the sun goes down. There is nothing like natural light for putting you in the mood.

Cheers! And welcome to my new Lemonade Stand.
