I hope your problems are getting solved. Isn't this board the best? Everyone is always more than willing to put out their hand and help us through. Just wanted you to know that I sympathize and was thinking of you!

Love,

K,

I think you must be the only one left on the planet who hasn't heard of "eat, love, pray". Get it, it's wonderful!

I could kiss you! C2H thanks)))))))))))))))))) Yes Beth, we not only get the benefit of emotional support but other kind of support here, Michele should get some sort of award some day. ;\)

There is no hot water anywhere on the house, the stove does work though \:\) hope it is just the pilot light, I was a bit afraid to fool with it, so, i will read the instructions *then* ask one of my very handy neighbors to help me relight it if indeed that's it (oh pleasssssssssssssssse let it be it!)

Thanks so much! and I will include s9, what a great idea, I usually just try to do things myself, but how else is he going to learn to do things if not by example.

Sending a cyber basket of fruit your way \:\)

plans for the weekend, well, im pretty torn.

I had already signed up to a big girls night out at my church at the house of the most fun woman we have on board, lots of stuff planned, starting with vespers, then a movie, games, etc etc....then of course, my cousin emails me telling me they are planning a night out for my other cousin's 40th bday the same night.
They are going all out, planning to rent a limo, go to a cool restaurant lounge which happens to schedule music from our country that night. I usually dont' think twice, love to get dressed up and dance! but it sounds like it is going to be an expensive night (limo, $$ lounge/restaurant)

Will get CS from H tomorrow which will cover sitting and the plumber fee from yesterday, after that, I'll have 22$ left in the bank, will have to put groceries and gas on my cc until I get paid wednesday. With 2 cc already with a balance (thank heavens for the $$ relief! which will pay those cc) I dont' think it is such a great idea to go out and use my cc, I dont' even spend that much money on my siblings bdays. I really want to go to both but also can't afford the $$ outing now, so I dont' know yet, bleah! don't you hate when you have weekends with nothing planned then 2 good options show up at the same time?

Thanks Bethie, I wanted to post something else and you just reminded me...

Cat, PRAY over everything.

A church friend did remodel a job for me but I had to call him back because of a problem (small) leak. I did not want it to become a problem between us and when he came to fix it, he said, "we'll figure this out in Jesus name."

His verbal affirmation stuck with me becuase the problem was a challenge when he first did the job (it had do do with plumbing angles under the sink, the garbage disposal and deep sink I had pre purchased). He was a professional but even professionals are challenged but he gave the problem over to the Lord and the Lord showed him how to figure out the problem and the repair has NEVER give me another problem 8 years.

When we pray, we open the door for God to do the work and the more difficult the challenge, the more He gets the credit when the problem is solved. When we ask, the problem is not always resolved the way we want it to be resolved but nevertheless, the "resolution" (whatever it is) is designed specifically for our situation.

Bethie,

You said it, people around here are more than willing to help, in whatever way they can, YOU my darling have certainly been so helpful to me! Now, I must grab my thermocoupler, mount my horse and search for other damsels in distress..... <the sound of gallopping hooves fades into the distance>

p.s. Cat, thanks for the fruit, oh, so yummmy!

I have been learning the art of stop doubting God and stop worrying C2H, you are right, pray over everything having faith is the only way to live.

some genius decided to put the main water valve 3 inches behind the water heater, my plumber (also a guy from church) had to do some twisting and turning of his body to fix what we hope is the source of the leak, otherwise he said we'd have to remove the water heater (disconnect it from all pipes) a job that would take all day. As it was he was there for 4hrs.

gather around children, to hear my victorious tale of me vs. the water heater...

So, armed with C2H's info I get home, fumble a bit more with the thing, and still can't get it to light. Asked my neighbor to please ask her H to come look at it, she says yes, I will tell him. Two hrs later nothing, a girlfriend comes over, still no clue (she had same problem before w/her heater)
I then bother my other neighbor across the street, who comes over and points out I've been fiddling withe the heating unit not the water heater...point taken :}

He reads the instructions on how to relight the pilot, but can' find where it is, as the water heater is also inconveniently positioned in a way you have be a cirque du solei acrobat to find it. He tells me I'll have to find a technician to fix it and to heat water if I want a bath, :\
I was not going to take no for an answer, I find the switch C2H told me about, get on the floor..and find a small plate, which has instructions to "lift up" and there it was!! I use my lighter and TA DA!! its ON, I got hot water!!!! \:\) \:\) I m very proud of myself!

The water does not leak anymore in the basemant!! the plumber did fix what was wrong! and the toilets are behaving themselves! yipeeee!!!!!!

Margaritas all around!!
