To agree to a D or not..... that is the question

My S15 just turned up out of the blue! I only spoke to him an hour ago to say goodnight. I was expecting it to be D18 knocking on the door as she has gone out with her friends.

He came to collect his school books that he needs for tomorrow and also Hs ticket for the Sports Awards. H sat in the car so I assumed OW was with them. S15 said she wasn't when I asked. So I went out to the car with the ticket so that I could ask H what S15s music teacher had said today. Guess what? He forgot to ring her. Well I could've predicted that. I didn't make a fuss about it and he said he would ring her in the morning.

My gut instinct told me to stand there and talk to him until S15 came back out with his school books but I didn't. I just said good night and see you tomorrow evening.

I'm getting a bit spooked that he is being so nice

S15 was coming back out the door as i went back in. I jokingly asked him if he wanted to come home yet. He said no. I just said well considering you didn't want to go in the first place that is good. Then I gave him a hug, told him I loved him and said goodnight.
