Hi SPrincess:

I am sorry to hear about the blood test results. The fluids will flush out all of the toxins from his system and Tyson will feel better and he will get his appetite back again.

Tyson will like having your towel and his stuffed kitty with him. I hope you have a nice visit with him tomorrow. I know I camp out at the vet' office when one of my kitties has to stay overnight.

I will be thinking of you and Tyson.

take care,
AG

Shoe, so sorry to read about the results and that Ty has to stay in overnight and today. When my guy had to stay at the vet I was there constantly and it felt good to be there for him. My cat was super clingy so I know he loved me being there, too. Comforts from home are great and help when you can't be there.

As for his kidneys, my friend has an older cat with renal failure and she has to inject him with fluids every four days. He is great and not sickly at all. Knowing what is wrong makes it so much easier to find solutions. So even though it isn't good news for Tyson, you at least know now what you are dealing with and the vet can give you some options.

Hugs to you and a pet to Tyson.

((((((((((((Princess)))))))))))))

So sorry to see what you're going trough. Hopefully, everything will turn out ok and Tyson will be home before you know it. Trip is right, once you know what you're dealing with and what you have to do, then you will know how to deal with it.

I'm sure that it doesn't help when you find yourself going through this alone. It also must be hard to have to chance running into someone who has hurt you so badly.

Take care Sweetie!

Love,
Bethie

thanks for all the support and thoughts. So I did not sleep at all friday night. I woke up with the worst bags under my eyes. It looked like I had been punched. I called the vet and they said I could come visit. So I I got there around 9:30 and satyed an hour. My poor little guy. He was in a cage, with his towel and kitty. They had a catheter in his right front leg, while theleft had been shaved and looked bruised. At first he did not respond but he then lifted his head up and sniffed the air. and realized I was there. I opend the cage and he stood up and became very vocal, which is a good sign. he loves to talk. He then rubbed his face on my nails (he loves that). I went to hug him and he rubbed on my hat and glasses and was purring. I was soo happy to hear him purr. He then wanted me to hold him so i picked him up and held him in my arms and he then fell asleep. poor baby has not slept well. So as I was holding him a vet tech came in and said he was doing good. eating very well and was responding to her when she would pet and talk to him. so after sitting on the cold floor hunched over holding him , i decided to switch positions and got an ear full from Tyson. I had disturbed hid sleeping. again a good sign. So after and hour I thought I should leave and let him rest. It was hard to say goodbye. I hope it did him some good to have me visit. Later that night the tech who checks on the animals when the office is closed called me for an update. She said he was doing well, ate everything she would put in front of him and was alert and looking comfortable. So I am taking this as a good sign but still am nervous. I hope to have him come home tommtorrow.
On a differant note, J and I went to the store to get food. The store is in my area but also that of the X and OW. I always scan the parking lot before going in to make sure they are not there. well we pull in and I spot X's truck. J drives around and notices that X and the OW are getting into the truck. J comments on what a small guy he is and how he did not have enough class to open the car door for his skank. We then go in the store and see a friend of X's. good god can I see more people I dont want to see? anyway, just resting today. I am mentally and physically exhausted. J has gone to help a friend and I chose to stay home. I was not up to make idle chit chat with the wife. Hope all is well thanks again for all the support

I'm so glad Tyson was doing better today. Talking to you, purring at you and standing up...as you say those are always good signs. I'm thinking of you both and sending prayers.

Hugs,
AH
