When I told my MIL and my Dad that H was actually having an A, he asked me later "What did you tell them?" and I told him that I told them the truth. He actually asked me what the truth was so I told him that I told them both that H had an OW and had left me and our kids to pursue that A.
He wasn't pleased, but as I sweetly pointed out, that is the truth and as hurt and emabarrassed as I am about it, I have nothing to hide.
Thats the bad thing about this, they never think anyone will find out and it can remain their guilty, dirty little secret. You reap what you sew...
(((Neecy))). I hope it gets better for you soon.
As for the peace factor when they leave, its hard, but you don't have to live with waiting for the other shoe to drop all of the time and establish a little bit of calm and sanity for yourself and DD.
