K,

Not being able to cook isn't all bad. When My kids come home now all they want me to do is to cook for them. The bad thing is they all have different favorites, so I feel as if I'm in the kitchen all weekend.

I really shouldn't complain. I don't get to cook that much anymore and since I love it, I do miss it!

Karen, I believe that wine is called Mad Housewife.
Was looking at over at the Fred Meyer recently. Maybe I will get a bottle. Sure could've use it a couple of years ago when I actually was one!

Here it is government run liquor stores and cold beer and wine stores. We can't buy liquor in the supermarket or anything like that. Sucks big time. Also, they tax it like crazy here and it boosts the price. The rotten part is we aren't allowed to bring much back with us into Canada without paying duty for it. So I usually bring a bottle with me after an over night stay.

K,

Sounds like a fun and very full weekend. It's really nice that you get along with B's kids so well.

Have a great time!

Trip,

Do you live that close to Canada that you can just pop over the border?
