You know, you're right about hearing all of us saying we want honesty...and I do; otherwise I think there are too many hidden things NOT being said...the old elephant standing in the middle of the room. For you to communicate how you feel effectively, it's important that you temper how you deliver this information (as it seems from your post that it was a bit "forward," which is simply my interpretation of how you wrote what you did). In the same vein, it's important that your H receive this information openly. He may not like it, but it is what it is...and it is progress. Perhaps you can talk to him about some of this? Try and make sure he understands the progress?
