Pam I have easily left one Dr. for another if I didnt feel I was being taken care of. You have to push push push, cause there are prob lots of other patients doing the same. So keep on callin you know you can talk to the Dr. personally too. Sometimes the office staff gets busy, so say I want to talk to Dr. X and YES I WILL HOLD

I have called again!! This is a pain. I don't think considering the fact that this appears to be another day I am going to leave work covered in blood that they are going to be able to do surgery this Friday.
If not then it will be another darn pay out for another prescription! No idea why she won't give me more than a week's worth of this stuff. It doesn't appear to be anything someone could sell or do anything with it. Heck if it turns out she can do the surgery I will give her the extra pills back if she is concerned!!

(((Pam))) Hang in there and keep calling. I say if you have no resolution withing the next couple of days, see someone else immediately. Make the current doc give you all your records so the new doc has them and doesn't have to redo any tests (saving money for ya).
And, yes, Progesterone is a big street drug. Some people thinks it'll give you big boobs!!!
Thank you for the info on the Progesterone!!!! H*ll I don't like it!!!!!!!! It made my boobs hurt something awful and it seemed to give me PMS symptoms in general!!
Of course no call back and the pharmacy closes at 1:30 for lunch so they won't be able to change the prescription.
I will be sooooooo glad when this is all over.

The nurse called me back finally and the Dr. says she is doing surgery on me this Friday regardless of what tomorrow's blood turns out to be.
I asked the nurse if someone is going to talk to me because previously the Dr. hadn't wanted to give me anesthetic because everything is so low. Supposedly the Dr. is going to call and talk with me this evening. I will be glad when this is over but I DO want to wake back up!!!

Unless the Dr. offers a reason for changing her mind, please get a second opinion.
And if you are not comfortable with her doing the surgery on Friday - you can say NO.
Doctors are not infallible. When my mother was in the hospital -we use to get different answers from different specialists. Fortunately my mother has a great primary care physician checked everything. When she was on a ventilator and unconscious - we literally yanked her out of one hospital to another one that probably saved her life.
Please take care of yourself. I know that money is an issue. But please don't do anything you are uncomfortable doing b/c it will save money.
I am going to glad when this is all behind us. I want to go back to posting to you about getting a cup of coffee in the morning again...
The Dr. herself called and talked to me yesterday evening. She said we need to get the surgery over with since my bleeding can't be totally stopped and has picked back up.
They are going to be very tired of me before this is all over I am sure as I plan to call again today. The tumor is a fibroid and on a stem best I understand her and the thing has somehow moved and is sticking out now. Should be no problem for her to get I bet but I don't understand how I can now have this baseball where it is at. Sorry know that is GROSS! I wonder if my body itself is trying to shed the thing if that makes sense?
I sort of wish at this point the surgery was this morning. Because losing blood like I am I figure I can only be weaker by Friday morning.
This morning I have to hustle out to the hospital to have blood drawn.
I will be soooo glad when this is over. I plan to crash all weekend!
