DMB,

Just wanted to say sorry about the phone, that must have really crushed you. There will be fall back, it happens, but she needs to know there will be consequences to that and I think you have stated so, good for you!

Keep it up DMB. You're where I'm at right now. Maybe a little ahead. My WW insists she's told OM NC, but won't do the NC letter. But it's only been a week since I exposed to the kids and right now she's so angry at me for that she won't do anything that I ask, so I'm not going to push for the moment. But I told her Friday night that I would file immediately for divorce if there is ANY contact of any kind.

I think you're handling this well. NC will be hard for the wayward. Just don't back down (yeah, easy for me to say).

Wow DMB - tough calls you've had to make. Good for you for sticking to your guns. Not wanting to get rid of a phone seems like a stupid excuse to me - it's just a phone, is it worth losing your family?

I can't wait for the day that I get to take WW's cell phone and blast it with a shotgun. Glad to read that she did as you wished an left. Good for you. What about the phone? Where is it now?

I still have the phone. It is out of power though. Trying to find a charger for it.

I have resisted the urge to bust it up. Might need it later for legal proceedings, if you know what I mean. A phone in 1000 pieces does me no good.

DMB,

I know we discussed this before, but I hope you're keeping a log of all of this. Your attorney will find it invaluable, should it come to that.

Hope it doesn't, tho! \:\(

Hey, DMB. When you were considering the attorney, I believe that you had informed the WW of your intentions of keeping the kids and having her leave. What kind of resistance were you getting from her if and when you had these talks? Also, did you let on to her that you had the appointment?

She didn't like it one bit when I told her she could leave anytime she wanted, and that I would keep the kids. I made it VERY clear every time D came up, that I would stop at nothing to do what is best for the kids (and me.) I would use everything at my disposal to keep my kids away from OM. If we were to get a D, there would be NMMNG. I meant and mean it too. Right now, I think I am the better parent. What kind of mom 'neglects' her kids and familiy by talking and emailing her boyfriend every day for 2.5 years. Not just a quick phone call daily either...they were talking HOURS each day. And I have proof of it all. hey WW, why not spend some time with your kids teaching them to read or playing with them, instead of engaging in soulmatery with your man, or fibbing to you husband??

I think she was VERY scared that I would get majority custody. I 'heard' her tell her friend how worried she was that she was going to have to PAY ME child support (and yes, I would try for that.)

I did let her know that I had a FINAL appointment with the attorney. She gave in to my needs (no contact, transparency, etc.) at the 11th hour. It wasn't commitment I got-- it was compliance. But at least I got something.

And had you been meeting with the attorney. In our last discussion, I had told her that I had already met with an attorney and as she was getting more emotional and heated I told to look at me and see how calm I was. Bluffing her. I do have the names of some attorneys, but haven't followed through with an appointment yet. Just seeing where the bluff takes us.
