Either way some good snow tires will keep you from getting stuck. Happy shopping!

Most of my miles are city. I had a passat before my current car and I have to say it's been my favorite car ever!!! One of the things I wasn't crazy about in the Beetle was the lack of get up and go. But then, MG informed me that most cars weren't meant for the type of driving I do......do ya think that's an insult???

To be honest, I haven't had an American made car in over 20 yrs. Been driving Hondas, Toyotas or VWs for at least that long.

I've had experience with the Prius, and I can tell you this. I want one. If I were a rich man, or even if I weren't a poor man, I would love to have one. It drives so very nice, and it is definitely nice. Good memories from driving that car. Want one.

Well QOE
In a Locksmith Auto entry book they distinguish between Made in America and Marketed in America. Almost all autos are made everywhere most are assembled in a region close to orgin.

However my dream of a 48 Willies sitting next to a 57 Caddy in front of the Beverly Hillbillies truck were all originally made in America but probably the replacement parts were not.

I was made in America but a lot of what I now eat was not. Hmmmm.

Jill,

My son has a prius and the only problem is battery life which is supposed to be around 4 years. I don't know how he did it but he got a longer warranty because when the battery needs to be replaced it costs hundreds of dollars. So ask about that when your shopping around.

(see I'm good for something!)

I have a pontiac vibe which is the exact same car as a toyota matrix.

it is a fun car

lots cheaper than the toyota version

and

i love her

but that could be because she is the first car I ever owned that cost more than $500!!!

I think that my powers of mind persuasion could manipulate you into purchasing whatever car I tell you too

(woooooooooooopah woooooooooooooopah....that's the scary Darth Vadar breathing)

turn to the dark side Jillybean

woooooooooooopah woooooooooooooooooopah
