I have an update:
Yesterday afternoon, my SS#2 called me. I was still at work. Surprise, surprise! It was so nice to hear from him. He'd locked himself out of the house and was waiting for his Mom to come ome. He decided to call me to catch up! He chatted and chatted, had so much to say. I had to end the call as I had to work...
After the chat, I emailed my H telling him about an essay contest and asking for his opinion - whether the boys would want to enter. I also asked if he was going to watch our dog next week.
He replied this morning, in a fairly good mood, I think. He was happy that my SS called me and talked so much. He didn't think they would do the contest thing. He asked if he could pick up our dog on Sunday. He said he liked that spring finally arrived.
I responded, and told him that Monday is dog swimming but I understood it was rushed for him on Mon night to pick her up. I reminded him that he'd said previously that he would enjoy watching a DVD with me sometime. I asked if he wanted to do lunch/dinner and/or movie or DVD. I offered to cook, do cook out, take out or eat out.
No response from him yet. He's either contmplating it or just wants to leave it till the last minute to confirm. Hard to know what he's thinking.
