I think I might have missed something in the posts...

So who is going to take care of and love the 5 month old chihuahua?

Yes, I was wondering when pets became "Disposable". You don't just get a pet and then trade it in for one that you think you'll like better. The SPCA reminds people of this all the time.

You up for the task??

Pay attention and you would see that it is with his daughter and her mom right now.

I read the deleted post.

My heartfelt sympathies for the poor poor puppy that had the misfortune to end up with such callous owners. I hope he finds the loving home that he deserves with owners that are willing to stick with him through the good and the bad.

And perhaps your family should rethink the concept of adopting animals. A robot dog may be more up your alley.

Pets are not "things" you throw away b/c when they become disabled, sick, or a tiresome inconvenience.

This dog did not ask to be adopted, he did not ask to be mistreated, and now that he is sick by virtue of that mistreatment - he is an inconvenience being thrown away b/c he is in the way.

People that treat animals as disposable "things" have no business having pets.

I did pay attention - that is why I read the post that you deleted.

My response above is to your deleted post. Let me know if you would like me to refresh your recollection regarding what you had posted before you deleted it.

I think we all were paying attention and trying to follow the story line. I don't have the long history with all of you and had the same question.

It really bothers me how snappy some of the members of this board get with people who don't 'fit in'. Or who interact with people you don't care for.

Amazing.

So the puppy the mom got is staying with the mom....

BUT

FA and the kids like the new house??? That is terrific!!! He gets them full time in a couple of months, right? Just in time for summer!!!

And

it is close to their schools and friends still, right?

It sounds aweseome and I am waiting for the pics

Based on the facts as selectively posted - yes.

Based on facts that were deleted - no.

Based on facts that were deleted - an animal rescue group needs to remove puppy from mom ASAP.

Based on facts that were deleted - it will be tough finding a new home for a puppy that has medical issues that were created as a result of mistreatment by its owners
