I hope your daughter did better today, or if you did end up at the hospital, that you have good results from the care they give her there. My daughter had her wrist surgery today, and it went very well. The surgery was much shorter than anticipated because thing went very well. It took hours to her to regain normal functioning after the anesthesia, they gave her a nerve block which is a the latest and best anesthesia for the type of surgery she had. She was so funny in recovery, although some of the nurses seemed worried by how long it took her to regain motor control. But she's functioning now. Since my daughter is studying neuroscience for her PhD she was fascinated by the changes in her body and perception.

I thought of you today and wondered if you were spending your day be a hospital bed too. Hope all is going well.
