I had to bring up some financial concerns with h on Monday, he immediately withdrew. I could almost feel the alien move in for a couple of days, but I backed off, didn't mention the subject again. Yesterday, he called me to talk about it- almost like he had a light bulb moment about what his $ actions are doing to me and the kids. He had a "plan" in mind about how to handle some financial things- good to see and I was proud of myself for not pushing on this.
He's been here every night this week, sleeping in the living room (not planned as far as I know). We've been planning a summer trip with the kids- quite a contrast to last year when he couldn't commit to doing anything with us.
