LWB is right there are a lot of arguements im sure in piecing.
Maybe the next time he tells you something you should repeat it back and ask H if you have the right understanding. Then there should not be a misunderstanding for him.
I think I would also tell H that you do not expect to be treated worse or like the hired help. You are his W, mother of his children and deserve to be treated with love and respect.
