Beauty, I think its my H crazy behavior that attracts people to my thread. lol
L21959, I'll go check on you, hope things are going well.
olive, yes. H hasn't seen enough anger. Yours either. But really, it'll do us better if we just let it go by ourselves.
Journaling:
H showed up ON TIME today so I could go to work. He walked in and said "You look surprised. Remember that reaming you gave me last week about shirking my responsibilities? I still can't sit down with my new a$$hole". It was a funny comment, he meant it as a joke, and I laughed, but only because he was on time today. ha!
He was very open to discussing the rest of the week. I didn't hear one "We'll see" or one "Don't know". He committed to everything. But its my turn to say to you guys....we'll see....
Hi, lwb! Just wanted to stop by your thread since you've visited mine. So sorry about your husband being offended by the way you said "Hello" on the phone. They really can be ridiculous, and after everything they've put us through, quite bold...

Lwb, what attracts people to your thread is you. It is to see and hear how someone so patient, kind and understanding, so loving towards her spouse and her children, can manage to remain so strong in her faith and her values despite you H's crazy behavior.

We're all students of yours -- don't ya' know?
I'll second that!! lwb- No Code is right. It's you that we all come to "see", not your H. You're one special lady.
Hope you're doing okay today.
Hugs my friend!

Thanks hurt. Those are really good lyrics. Thank you. I know what you mean about not being a big fan of an artist, but now a song like that will leap out at you. Honestly, I had no clue how many songs were about bad relationships until I was in one.
I'm in total agreement about the songs. I remember one night tears rolling down my face when I was listening to the Shania Twain song, "Whose bed have your boots been under?". It used to be a song that my DD and her friends would get in my car and turn up the CD and belt it out at the top of their lungs because it was fun to sing. I never really thought about the meaning of it. Sad how you become so much more sensitive to things such as songs, isn't it?

I agree! Maybe it's just me noticing now that I'm in this spot, but almost every song on the radio seems to talk about bad relationships or breaking up or whatever. I don't know if it is a good idea if I listen to them or not!!! Karen
Hey lwb... I've been very busy... just now getting caught up on your thread. However, something leaped out at me:

Yoyo- Same here! I heard Shania on the radio with that exact song. Yep, tears on my face too.
The songs hurt. But even now commercials do too. Have you seen that commercial for a cell phone company....I think Verizon. It's the one where the little girl hides her little stuffed monkey in her dad's briefcase & he keeps sending her text messages with the monkey in different poses? Well, the song to that commercial.....Sweet Pea, Apple of My Eye.....etc. Yeah, H calls OW Sweet Pea, so guess what song popped up on my computer the other night. YUCK!! She calls him Beautiful Boy. Now that really makes me sick to my stomach. Calling a 40-year old man Beautiful Boy? BLAH! Makes me think that he's got this "mommy complex" thing going on with her. His mom is passed away & OW seems to "know" him so well. She KNOWS what he's gone through all these years!! BLAH, BLAH, BLAH!! Again, makes me sick!
