Nonsense, TAL, he wouldn't talk that way to the hired help. He'd be afraid they'd quit. He saves his worst behavior for his family. It doesn't make sense, but that's what people do. You need to speak up for yourself and set some boundaries. You take care of the home and the kids and whatever else, and he needs to treat you at least as well as he would a stranger. And you should treat him as well as you would treat a stranger too. That is called common decency. (It's not so common.)
