I spoke to my Mom and she didn't get the results from her test. She thinks she has to wait until the results get sent to her Dr.. and the Drs office calls her to schedule an appt. I will make sure I'm there for that. I had thought my sister was going to go to the test with her yesterday but it doesn't sound like she did.
I'm going to go pick up D2 from daycare.. I managed to check out most of my friends from the newcomers section.. but I still need to go to the other boards where there are some other people I like to pop in on. I'll attempt to do that later on this evening.
From this point forward is a quick journal.
Yesterday H called in the morning.. just to say hi. That was nice.. He ended up going to home town to see his Dr to get his paperwork signed that he was healthy enough to go for surgery next week. While he was in hometown he saw his folks... and that caused him to not get to the house until 7pm. I know it bothered him. I could sense that he was trying to be chipper. He's been trying to get here earlier than that to spend quality time with D2.. and his Mom made him late. I acted "as if" he wasn't in a bit of a bummer mood and just kept the conversation light. His stomach is also bothering him (which has happened SOOO much since the bomb).. He put D2 down for bed. Hung out with me for about 45 mins and then left with a quick peck and hug. I saw this morning that he sent me a text saying that he's looking forward to our steak dinner on the weekend.. and he also sent me an email.. which he signed "love, petname". All good things.
He called this morning before I took D2 to daycare and said that if I had time after my ortho appt today to swing by his work and we can do a latte. So I did. Talked about nothing in particular. Spent about a half an hour together.. then he went back to work and I came home to put D2's bed together. I had her sleeping on a mattress on the floor since taking her out of her crib.. I think she's been okay to be in the bed for a while now but I hadn't the time or the energy to put it together.. so I did it this aft. Phew.. this being at home these past 2 days has been exhausting.
