jumping late into the game but ouch, I too feel the pain of the never-learning lying dorks splurging on crap/ow and not giving the kids half of what they spend elsewhere.
I have made it a point of getting rid of anything mutual or stuff I can check, I don't trust myself so I took care of online accts and stuff, I've told 4nowH if I receive email/info for him and to take me off.
These men are just plain ol' lazy, 4nowH also did stuff for ow he did for me (boy, I thought it only hurt me when they copy-cat stuff!). It is just so damn heartless. We just have to consider the source.
4nowH used to dress like the easter bunny and buy enough chocolate for a whole month, this year he didn't even buy them ONE piece! nothing at all (they did get a bag from me). s9 was dissapointed and wondering why the easter bunny didn't come, since he's old enough I just told him the truth (good thing too, since there won't be a santa this year either, doubt he'll dress up for the kids again) Regardless, I decided, even 4 days after easter to have an egg hunt, lol. So I score on after-easter sale candy and had an egg hunt for kids last wednesday, they were happy, I was happy.
Guess who they'll cherish more 20/30/40yrs from now Lissie? you got a place in your children's heart that dork could never hold.
