Ex just called out of the blue, on his way to the airport

He wanted to know what my text from 5 nights ago was about, ha! Don't rush or anything there ex!

I was telling him as per, by the time he calls, I found a solution, anyway he was in a talking mood, funny he never was while we were married! the man never spoke!

Anyway during the convo, mostly about his trip to Tenn he was on his way to, to help his S, BIL and mother move into their new home, he said how he was telling a friend of his, who was a friend of mine, that he was really happy about our R now!!! wt??
he liked that the animosity had subsided and we could be friendly

I smirked to myself cause I thought, I am cordial and nice, for my own good, but i do have a bit of animosity - after all hes never apologized! Too funny what they think or think they know how we feel.

I do feel a bit smug knowing his life isnt a bed of roses, somehow that helps lol

Anyway, just funny, its still odd like talking to someone i've known forever yet dont really know. I wished him a safe trip, he says, ohhh thanks K!
