MIL called today just to say hello, in convo she asked quite a few things, when I told her H knows all this hasn't he told you.
She then revealed that H doesn't let her in on his life, he doesn't tell her much about anything.
I told her that if she wanted to know how her grandsons were then she should just ask me, she didn't need to be a stranger,
The convo felt so pre bomb, it was not strained, I felt she was sincere.
So in all this time MIL has been in the dark as well, from her tone it would seem that she is a little frustrated with H. I think she is beginning to feel safe to talk with me again, I shall just be open with her, so hopefully we will have a friendly relationship in the future.
