Sara, Yes, they have to try out every year. This will be her 5th year to try out for the dance team. She has made it every year, but they must try out every year. They usually make the dance so rigorous to weed out the weaker ones. They usually start off with about 50 girls trying out. They drop out daily because they find out how hard it is. They have 3 days to learn two dances and try out on the 4th day. They pick 14 girls.
No luck on the prom dress today. She tried on about six, but none were really the "one". She saw one she liked in a store that was closed on Mondays. We shall regroup and hit more stores tomorrow! If she is this picky about at prom dress, I can only imagine what it will be for a wedding dress!
So, Mc, I'm assuming Theo's skirt was plaid since it was a catholic school...

I have had my mom and dad and sister and nephew and niece over today. It was kinda stressy. Nice to see them but nice to see them go!!!! I know, I'm real bad for feeling like that, but ever since H's A and my sister's M breakdown things have not been so good between us all.
My dad looks very frail though
We had a long weekend for Easter but everything goes back to normal tomorrow. Spring school holidays start on 5th April for two weeks. I shall try and catch you and Sara on IM this week whilst you are off school.

I'm glad you got to visit with your family. This will only open doors to a better relationship with them. You have to take baby steps and this is a beginning.
I'm doing okay. It's so nice being out of school for a week, although it looks like I may be spending much of it prom dress shopping.
We will have to set up a time for all of us to get together and chat. Since the time difference is so great you'll have to let us know when is good for you.

OK - now is 11pm and I am about to go to bed. What time is is with you now? I get so confused when they do the clock changes at different weekends - our clocks go forward an hour next Saturday night.
I usually get back in around 1pm from doing Saffron and am around then for a good 2 to 2.5 hours.

My niece has a gorgeous selection of prom dresses on her facebook page. I will call her and see how she and her friends found all those dresses. It's so cute, they each post a picture of a dress on a model and say that's the dress they are getting. This way they all know what the others are wearing. The dresses are all beautiful. I'll call her and send you an email about it.
