You have to date like you're trying on a dress. Some will be "okay" some will suck, some will show potential. It takes a while to find the right one.
Also, change your mindset from "what am I doing wrong?" to "are they good enough for ME." YOU are shopping around. YOU are giving THEM the chance to prove to you that theya re good mate material and if they show you right off the bat that they are unmotivated and cannot woo you, then they are only going to get worse.
