I don't think you've lost your perspective at all. This is not something trivial- you need to get it done and she *should* have you as a priority and be supporting you. I agree with WCW- tell her how you feel and that you could use her support. It's not OK for her to try and prevent you asking S18 either, or to try and get it pushed back. NOT OK.
