hey Michelle! Wow..guns!? Yuo can like, kill people with those, eek! You are a real life Action Girl (remember those!? I had one when I was a kid, much cooler than Barbie/Cindy whatever). I would be useless in the army...I would do something clever, like disguise myself as a local peasant and then run in the opposite direction to the fighting.

I guess its not surprising that you havent heard from your H. His head must be mincemeat, and did you say that slasher OW was flying in to see him at Easter? He must be dreading it after what happened between you two the other night..now he has been unfaithful to OW !

OW was getting in tonight I think - he never really said as he was understandably reluctant to get into details with me.

It'll be an interesting weekend lol.

your 908 the barrel seems to be shorter. What's the accuracy compared to the Baretta. Is the Baretta 9MM what you qualed on or have you returned to the 45?

How does the USC stack up against the M4? I like the weight.
Muzzle velocity?
I like a few more rounds prior to changing mags.
What's the rail system like?

Good stuff.

We have actually gone to Sig 9mm. I hate them - thought there was nothing worse than the Baretta then found this. I have a biased opinion though since the Sig's are completely un-left-handed and have too many damn buttons and levers. Everyone except us leftys like them better as they are more accurate.

I have not actually shot an M4 yet. \:\( We still have the M16-A2s. Compared to that....I liked it a lot! I only got to shoot off a couple clips at the very end, so did not have nearly as much time as I would have liked to play with it and figure things out, so can't make too many comparisons. Other than it being FUN. Lol.

Since I was at a range that theoretically wanted you using 5 rounds/clip, mag capacity was not a big issue. Although since the guy I was shooting with is law enforcement, he did have the high capacity clips.

that's really cool Michelle, my H's uncle is also and was actually in iraq for a while. He went back over there working for an oil company at the moment.

All that gun stuff, I am clueless, so I won't even try to join in on that convo!

You be sure to have a good weekend, whether you hear from H or not.

happy, good friday and Easter!

Well on a long range shot the 16s are more accurate however when you have to get out of a humvee real fast or cutting the pie the M4 is preferred.

I agree on the complexity. These folks at the Pentegon love gadgets and need to get into a few firefights to unf#*)themselves and to appreciate simplicity. I love the Russian approach to weapons though their part tolerances could be a little tighter.

But the objective is to win and looking cool while you do it is always a plus.

Yeah, I think R&D guys and the EAR people who decide we need to buy these damn things should have to actually use them!!!

Journaling:
Work was okay. Day with the in laws was totally fun. FIL got shot with silly string by 14 yr old boy cousin, chased him around the yard, got rope out of his truck, lassoed him and tied him to a tree lol. Same cousin started a fire with a magnifying glass, moved it into the weber grill and we made s'mores after dinner. General hilarity, laughter, good times. No H. Still haven't talked to him.

Oh and I ordered a corset last night! http://tinyurl.com/35e77b In red to wear out with jeans tehehe.

Thoughts on calling / IMing (assuming he's online, which H hasn't been in a couple days) tomorrow? Just to say Happy Easter perhaps?
