So, H and I had a small R talk tonight. We've been doing so well we haven't had any of those lately.
His company is setting up offices in 2 other states. Both locations are within driving distance but we're talking between 2-4 hr drives. He'll have to be driving to each location to help get the offices going. He said he would have to stay overnight a few times and wanted to know if that was ok.
I asked why it wouldn't be ok with me. (I was surprised that he was asking my permission.) He said he's been avoiding having to do that so I wouldn't wonder/worry if he was alone or not. I was sort of stunned. I told him I had noticed he wasn't staying over as much but figured it was because things were over with OW.
He was pretty upset that I thought that was the reason he had not stayed over anywhere. He said, OW was not with him as much as I thought. And most of his overnight stays for work were just that, and he was alone. He said again he stopped it because of me.
It seems he's been pretty transparent with me on that issue but I didn't even know it. It was good to talk with him about that. At least now when he has to go out of town, I'll feel better...
