I read this in one of conways books i think called when a mate walks out
he said after we have done everything we could to save M, a confrontation isnt always a bad idea
he says while it wont bring H back, it will help to get out some of our stuff we been holding back
so we will feel better
he also said, it usually pushes the WAS spouse further into their other world
