Fa: Besides making the Pros and Cons list I mentioned and the fact that 500 extra sq feet can make a HUGE difference - the one other thing is "feel". How do you "feel" when you are in each house? Does one make you feel more "homey" than the other. Do you see your furniture in there?

I bought a cottage 10 years ago (my best comparison). I went through about 10 cottages all on the same day. One stood out by feel so much more than the others. No - it was not the biggest, best or most expensive - it was actually the cheapest and I didn't decide by price. The pros and cons list worked out the best in that one but it was the "feel" that won out. At the end of the day I asked the kids which one of all of them they felt best about (they went through all with me). They, too, "FELT" that one was right. And to this day, every time I arrive there - I feel it is right.

Hope that helps. I've rarely bought other houses. Built 2 and bought 2 without looking at more than two. Some things just FEEL right.
