My niece got married last September. She did not have her father give her away because she felt he had made a mockery out of marriage. I respected her for that. But, gosh, I hate the position all these kids are in. I truly hate it.
Wow! that is very insightful of her, never thought of it that way, poor thing, and you are right spitfire, these innocent kids have to deal with a lot of things, that I personally never had to.
I guess all we can do is be the best parent we can, we can only control that.
