Barb & Happy, Life is better since I dropped all expectations in regards to X. I can afford to help my D and I will for as long as necessary. Course, this will cut into my traveling and fun money but I'd do anything for her and vice versa. She will graduate from college some day, get a decent job and put me in the Royal Carribbean Nursing Home where I hope to meet up with all my friends here.
As for X.......I was thinking about our D's wedding someday. She wants "me" to give her away (like I haven't been trying ) but I know that she'll do the "right thing" and allow her Dad to do it. And, I wish he would feel some degree of shame for all that he's done to hurt us. But....no expectations.
