He feels like he not only let me down when everything went to crap, but he feels like he let my parents down big time. My mom used to tell him how proud she was of him and the way he took care of me and the boys. Ever since the bomb, she doesn't really look at or say much to him anymore, and I know it kills him. The same with my stepdad.
He believes my family has great influence over me and my choices, but that's not true. If it were, I would've been D'ed shortly after he moved out. But I'm not my mom, and while I love her and the support she gives me, I do not share her opinion of D. It's not that simple to just turn the other way and start anew.
