Some reason thought I'd be locked already.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend and seeing signs of spring!

This weekend B's 2 D, GD and future SIL came over, we had a wonderful time w/ them! They are such wonderful girls, I had met his oldest when she was out w/ her family last summer, it was nice to see her again and his little GD. whos 8. Met his younger D, shes 26, a nurse and engaged, such a swee girl too! and SIL wasnt near as bad as B made him out to be! lol Actually he is getting his act together and really doing well in fact they just bought a brand new home, and are waiting to move in next month.

We took them to a couple of our fav wineries, told them there we were engaged and they seemed very happy! WHEWWWW lol

Out to lunch and we even stopped by my parents house as my S was down w/ the gang and it was a chance for the two families to intermingle a bit, went very well.

My S seemed to really like his D, said " they were really cool"
More his age and he seemed to really hit it off w/ the SIL whos close to his age- B was prob a bit perplexed, as Ry and SIL talked more then Ry and B really ever have lol, its a generational thing.

Anyway, was a real nice day, I just wanted to make sure it was nice for B sake he was so happy about his D together and coming over \:\)

It was a hectic 3 days here tho, so now things are back to normal,,,somewhat lol
S is home for spring break and I have a few lil projects for him! lol

Have a terrific week everyone, Now I can visit some of your threads!

HAHAHA K.....

I thought Ry just went back to school and now he's on spring break??? What do they let them out of school in California when the surf's up?

Glad you had a nice time with B and his girls. I'm sure that it meant a lot to him to have everyone he loves together. Do they live in Cali as well?

Hey fig, that sounds yummy! I've seen that a lot lately on the bridal shows where couples are opting out of wedding cakes and making the cupcake towers. Cool idea!

Love,
Bethie

Yea Cowabunga dude!
No, one good thing about school just being 90 mins away, its an easy run home, he was home w/ bronchitis w/ me last week. COUGH COUGH remember that??

B's youngest lives close to him, but for some reason we've never met! His oldest lives in AZ w/ her H, and 3 young ones. They come out about twice a year, and he goes there, I am not crazy about going, not a huge AZ fan. uggh the heat! but of course I will go visit now.

So Bethie, have any Peeps lately? LOL

I'm so happy that B's D's are pleased about the engagement. And, how cool, that Ry has found a new buddy in the extended family. Who'd of thought life could be so good???

Hey Jilly!
Yea, Ry seems to really like both B's future SIL and his SIL who was out from AZ, it must be with them being so close in age, R being a bit younger but still, same same.

My mom commented on what really nice young ladies they were, and I am not surprised B would bring up girls like that, We both said we were so proud of all our children and we done good! lol

Karen: That is SO cool that all the kids got along well and that B's girls were pleased. That just makes it all come together so nicely.

Happy Days ahead!
