Breton, what did you do right today?

Did you vote in the primaries?

You may want to consider meditation. It worked for me...in fact, I have gotten away from that and I think I need to get back into it. It helps keep you focused.

Keep on keeping on...you are doing okay. Weight loss is normal...I lost 20 pounds...it came back with a vengeance!

Anyhow, I am rooting for you...

Hi all!
I love this thread!! Thanks for contributing to it!

Breton, you need to eat. The separation usually causes weight gain or weight loss. However, if you're barely eating, and not taking vitamins, I'm worried. Do not forget to take care of yourself. As for exercise, you can get a generic pedometer that costs about five dollars. It measures your distance, and amount of steps you walked. The idea is to increase little by little. It's just an idea.

As a reminder, place your vitamins near your toothbrush. But it's healthier to take general vitamins and minerals from its real source.

Firekeeper, I feel the same about exercise. I like to run too. One suggestion is to sign-up for running events. Generally, you donate to a cause, and get a *high* when you reach that finish line! Plus, you receive a free T-shirt. The shirt is like a bonus symbolizing, "I DID IT!" Family, these events are not only for runners, but walkers! Also, their distance varies. Check your local, running store shop for updates.

Good luck everyone w/ the taxes!

Yes, I took my vitamins today. I also saw a dr this past week and I am going to the dentist next week.

Am also looking forward to taking D2 to the because I am going to make some chicken soup and get healthy stuff. I've been learning to cook and regardless of what happens, I plan to be able to whip up a healthy meal in the future.

Breton,
Vitamins are not a cure-all, especially if you're not eating anything. You need to take care of yourself spiritually, emotionally, physically, psychologically, socially, economically, and indeed, family-wise. Even ask your doctor!

I know it takes every ounce of effort to pull through the day. But don't give up!

Hang in there!

Breton,

An old saying comes to mind that I abided by in the early stages: "Fake it til you make it." You're going to be OK. You're going to survive this no matter the outcome. I'm sure you instinctively know what you need to do to take care of yourself.

I went to Dr. and got on meds (antidepression) in the early days and I'm glad I did. I began exercising and still am. I more recently switched from vitamins to nutritional supplements (which contain vitamins and more). Try a lot of things until you find what works for you.

Let us know how you are doing. I was worried about you this weekend because I havent seen you post in a while.

brenton,

How's you're back? When it's better, I've got some exercises that help with functional strength. They also (just happen) to strengthen you back and core.

Glad to hear you're eating better. \:\)
