Thank you for respecting my privacy. I feel like we are friends, so I wanted to use my name. Anyway, I really hope you begin to feel better soon. Yes, do some thinking, it doesnt have to be anything huge - just something to make you smile, or feel good.
Maybe a new hobby, or something spiritual, or someplace you might enjoy visiting or taking up a sport or taking a class or doing some sort of project, planting a garden, charity work, learn a language, read a book you always wanted to get to. Hope this gives you some ideas.

Hi! beginnersmind is so, so right to focus on doing great things for yourself and put w on the back burner for now. I would still throw her an occassional compliment though- how could that hurt things?

Some suggestions: find some great books, learn some new recipes, take one or more of your sons to a touristy place in your area that you've never been to (or go alone!), find a scenic/peaceful place to walk/hike before it gets too hot out there, go to a concert... I'm sure I'll think of more, so I'll be back!

Also, one of your last posts mentioned her yelling. Does she really yell that much? Is it an everyday thing? Once a week? I'm just hoping, for your sake, that you're exaggerating the yelling a bit. A book that I read not too long ago suggested just saying "ouch" and walking away when your h/w says something hurtful. Could this work for you?

Hoping your pma is better today. Hugs...

It's really amazimg how many people can fit in this same boat and how many people are at the same exact stage. We need more success stories here.

Cheers,

Hello Jeff!

Just stopping by and saying hello. Hope you're having a lovely day and not holed up in the basement lab. I had a good one, going out for lunch to a restaurant that's been open since 1742. It was certainly an experience!

(((()))) I hope the yelling isn't too often too.

Yeah, I'm in the basement, can't post for long!

The yelling, well, it is much less frequent than it used to be. But I think that is because she doesn't care anymore. Which may be just as well.... she cares, and yells, or she doesn't care, and doesn't yell. Hmmmm?
Oh, and she hated it if I walked away while she was yelling. since she thought she was talking, and being ignored, I guess.

Tree, the boat is so crowded, it is a wonder it doesn't sink! Good company, rotten cruise!

Lisa! I really liked going to places that had been there forever when I was on England! Like, almost everywhere!

See you all later! I am still thinking!
