Not much to report.

Still feeling pretty low. The room is much better, but I just ran out of gas. Then yesterday was pretty busy. W, younger two boys, her mom, and I went to a band concert, one of the conductors was a woman who was in W's nursing program. I enjoyed it, being a bandit in my previsou life, kids were bored, but I think even liked some of it. Then we met her dad at a Chinese restaraunt for dinner, which meant I didn't have to cook! Then we went to her parents' house, I helped her dad with a computer question, and we watched three episodes of "Dead Like Me". Kids are on Spring Break, so we weren't in any hurry to get home.

So, I spent a lot of time in the same room as W. But that is about the sum of it.

I'm glad the room is coming along. There is no rush, just a little bit at a time will get you where you need to go!

Sounds like a pretty good weekend overall.

You need to brainstorm some 180s! No matter how silly they are, they will get you thinking!

Hey dh! It sounds like you need a pma boost. Your weekend sounded good to me (and productive- yay at getting starting on clearing out the stuff!), but your post sounded blaaah. How can we help you see some of the positives?

Yeah, I'm feeling kind of blah, too! I didn't get nearly as much done as I could have/should have. Yes, things are better, but I either got lazy, or ????? 'Tis a bit discouraging. And of course, I feel at a complete standstill as far as W is concerned. I need a pick up, and I don't know where to find it! Not a truck, either.

Anyway, I hope that I hear from the doc this week. and I hope that this fatigue, and down feeling do turn out to be related to the hemochromitosis, that I hope I have! Because then they might actually start to get better soon.

Hope you are right and that your fatigue will be easily "fixable"...you got some things done this weekend and spent some time with your wife--good deal! It is hard for me when H and I are in the same room together but I feel we are far apart.....
But remember for some on these boards, to even have the opportunity to be in the same room with their spouse for an evening would be a dream....Just doing my bit to boost your PMA!!

Hey Jeff - don't know if I've posted to you, or at least it's been awhile. You always have things to say on my thread to brighten my day.

I've caught up with your sitch, and was just wondering if you are planning anything to spruce up the room---i.e. something your W might like and respond to...........

I'm sorry to hear that you haven't been well. Does hemochromatosis run in your family? I worked for an endocrinologist for a few years and we had several patients with that dx, and I know it usually runs in families (mostly men). Since you have 4 sons..........something to watch, and if that is what you have they can be tested.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks! I wish my PMA was feeling boosted! I know I should be glad she is still in the house, and we can be in the same room, but most of the time I would rather not be! How messed up is that? I don't think my attitude is helping things at all right now. I am tired of being theonly one interested, to the point where I am not really interested. That's not a good feeling at all.

The picture did greatly brighten my day! How could getting a photo of a Greek beauty not do that?

I don't know of a history of hemochromatosis in my family, but since it is something you don't know you have without testing, it could be there, to daome degree, and never been diagnosed. If it turns out that I have the genetic mutation, we'll have to figure out if and when to test the boys. Kind of a tricky situation with the way insurance companies are, so we might be better off keeping it under our hats, for now, at least. Hopefully the doc wil have good advice on that.

I haven't thought too much about the room, past getting it habitable! Part of me says to make it my room, and don't worry about her! That may be my passive aggressive half. You have brought up a good thing for me to think about!
