Yes I have thought about moving over to piecing I may do that sometime this week, when I have the time. It's kind of funny, I am so busy now doing stoff with H, I can't for the life of me figure out how I had the time for OM. H and I still did alot of stuff together when OM was around, but when I was out with H I was always wondering about OM, that was before, not any more.

H and I had our 15th anny on Thursday last week. We really did not do anything special for it, we just spent the evening together. H got me my favorite flowers again, and 15 of them this time. They are tulips so they were a bit easier for him to find this time of year, he got them for me on Valentines Day also. He told me when he went into the flower shop of Valentines Day he was told that was a bit of an odd request, but I honestly don't like roses, they fade way to fast for the amount of money that you spend for them. The tulips that he got for Valentines Day lasted over two weeks, any of the roses that he got for me were lucky to last a couple of days.

Thanks for checking in and I will post to let you guys know when the move happens.

Hi RC,

I have read your thread and I am an almost WAW who had an EA with OM over the internet. Even if it did not actually carry over into a PA, I can understand with what you are going through and why you were going back and forth between OM and H and why it is so hard to completely cut it off with OM. We know in our head that is the logical and moral step to take before we can make the M work.....and yet there is something in us that wants to hold to a tiny little thread that connects us with the OM.

There is a new forum for WAW's or almost WAW's. You might want to visit there for some input for others. My thead can be found in the Piecing forum, but I am so glad that a forum for WAS's has started b/c it is hard to come on board and give your story. We are seen as the "enemy" to some hurt LBS, but the majority will come to us and ask a lot of questions to try to make sense of what happened with their own stitch.

It always helps me to find another almost WAW on the board. I hope you will know that I understand and I am here anytime you want to just talk to me or whatever.

Sandi

It is not about what you feel should work in your M. It is about doing the work that gets the right results. Do what works!
